It's a big match because two big names were on the mound, their names were A.J Burnett and Jake Peavey. But this season, there's some differences between them. Burnett has been pitching well until now going 4-1 with 1.69 ERA before the game, while Peavy has the other side of the coin with 1-3 and 6.63 ERA. But today is not the same as always.

Early in the game, Burnett has a little problem with his control, so in the second, he allowed a run by walking Eric Young. And then he escaped the situation with base-loaded on one out, facing Brian Giles and Ryan Klesko, opponent's best hitters. He got strike out in a row. So today, Burnett pitched 6 inning, gave up only 1 run, unearned run and he dropped his ERA to 1.51.  Really nice look and he was the winning pitcher.

Peavy was also brilliant today, pitching 7 inning with only 2 runs(unearned runs). walked just one and fanned 6. Marlins totally made only 3 hits, that's all. This is the baseball. This is not important how many you produced hits, but is critical how enough you get runs to win.

Still, Marlins stayed in the standing with second place behind New York Mets. Marlins new manager Freddy Gonzalez from Cuba, has a plenty of relax. He said after the game, that he has no problem with the team and has confidence with team's future.

"Really, I don't have much pressure right now, It's only early in the season.. and too many days to think about the season. So, I have no time to look back past games and disappoint things. Our players know how to win and how important it is. Just I am the one of them who are watching them play with their level."
