Early in the season, Adrian Beltre is heating up and became most impact player in the team. Today against Royals, team was being led by 9-8 in the ninth because they allowed 3 runs in the 8th to give a lead to Royals. Two out with runner on second of Vidro, Beltre hit decisive two run home run against Royals closer Mike Mcdougal to reverse the game.
That was his 4th home run of the season while playing 8 games. With Griffey's injury, his performance is really shining. Addition to Beltre's performance, Carlos Guillen is another hitter of hot batting, produced 3 hits including home run. His average is now .517. With five consecutive wins, Mariners got 6 wins and 2 losses now.
How about amazing Jeremy Reed. Dont' much mean put into this status, but his 8 RBI is leading the team as a No. 9 hitter.
Daniel Cabrera showed another struggle today, allowing 5 runs during 5 innings. There's some concern about his control. J.J Putz got 3rd save of the season. For the next two games, Francisco Liriano and Felix Hernandez are on the verge.
