In the second game of their opening series, Dodgers made the series tie at 1. There will be one game left for their series, and expected pitchers of both sides are Matt Morris and Jeff Weaver. Morris also will make his first start for the Giants.
Santana gave up 5 runs in 5 innings and got a first loss as a Giant. After the game, he told the media he doen't any care about his first start.
"I think It was a usual game and normal day. I know, I was not good, and I should have done more that I did today. But that was out of my control. I feel good now and have no problem with my body. I am gonna try to get back in next start"
Dodgers starting pitcher Odalis Perez did brilliant job, only allowing 2 runs while pitching 8 innings. He only gave up 4 hits. Giants batters were terrible, their all 2 runs were made by Omar Vizquel and pinch hitter Pedro Feliz.
