내년에도 올해와 같이 미들인필드는 호세 카스티요와 잭 윌슨의 몫입니다. 잭윌슨의 경우 2004년에 커리어시즌을 보내기는 했지만, 그렇게 큰 기대는 안했기 때문에 그렇다 쳐도, 지난 오프시즌에 기대를 했던 호세 카스티요의 경우 아쉬운 점이 있었던 2005시즌이었습니다. 부상만 아니라면, 둘 모두 지난시즌보다는 더 나아지지 않을까 싶습니다.

Wilson, Castillo provide flashy defense, dangerous offense

A moving picture truly can say a thousand words. In that brief clip, Wilson showed off his tremendous range and creativity at shortstop, while Castillo displayed his unequaled arm strength at second base and his uncanny ability to turn double plays better than just about anyone else in the game.

The most astonishing thing about the highlight is that Wilson and Castillo have made a dozen or so similarly brilliant plays during the past two seasons. And the Pirates have every reason to believe that their double-play combo will continue to improve the longer they play together.

On a team that includes All-Star left fielder Jason Bay and sluggers Craig Wilson and Jeromy Burnitz, Castillo probably has more natural power than any other Pirates player.
