I got great story today. Here's the guy named Hines Ward who is playing for Pittsburgh Steelers in NFL.
NFL is the most popular pro sports in USA and today's big match called 'Super Bowl' is the NFL version of the World Series of MLB. While World Series has at most 7 games to go to make their champion, 'Super Bowl' match is only once a year. So, as a single game, it has a lot of attention from the sports fans and the american people. Some statics shows how popular the match is... for example, advertizing during the festival costs 80,000,000 won per one second.
Anyway, Steelers had a tradition winning in 'Super Bowl' match 4 times in NFL history before the game today. And they add another one to their history to reach the tie with Cowboys and 49ers on most wins of the big event.
Here's the main story about Hines Ward who is the center of the attention in Korea now and all media in Korea are lighting the spotlight on him and his mother. Their story is really deep-touched. His mother is Koean, Ward was born in Seoul in 1976. His father was serving in US army at that time. Rest of the stories already have been spead by media not only here in Korea but in America. He has tatoo written '하인즈 워드' on his arm to respect the Korea as the country of his mother. I can say actually he doesn't care much about Korea, but he loves his mother deeply. Anyway, his coming to korea this year will be special issues here, I think it worths. He is valuable player, great son, nice half-Korean. I love this story and I am gonna watch him and root for. 
Always his mother told the son 'be humble'.. In his life, Ward take it as his values of his life. Here's the anecdote. He loves and has some kind of cars which are expensive. So, sometimes he starts to ttalk about his cars, but then stops, changes his focus to another area. He said that why he does like that is the word from his mother. Don't go out there and show it off. I think he is like a kid who only act the thing that mom told him to do. That's funny.
Before the big match, he got interview and said proudly "I am here because of my mom"
