Q : How about the team's situation, you are optimistic for the play off?

A : Absolutely. Thesedays we have been dragging our feet, but I believe the team should be rebounded. We've played without Delgado, Guillen and Bay and achieved around .500 for the period. We still are one of the conterders in the division and stay at the first place.

Q : You got first game against Atros, but team will face Astros' trio, Clemens, Pettite and Oswalt. you don't have any concern about that?

A : In last series with the Astros, we sweeped the series and we beat each of those pitchter in the middle of the process. I know they are really great pitchers and we need to concnetrate more and more. We have Oliver Perez, Pedro Martinez and Danny Haren upcoming.

Q : How about Delgado's status? Will he be back before starting of next season?

A : I am not sure about his time table for returning. Just we hope he will play full next season. He needs surgery and need the time to recover and do rehab process.
 
Q : If he will not be available for next spring, you are gonna get another first place man to repalce him?

A : No. Without him, we are strong enough to make a shot for the winning division. Actually, we desperatly want him in the playoff game, but for some period in the regular season, I am sure we are gonna play well and there's no problem. We put Choi into first  and use extra guys from our bench for Choi's absence in the  outfield.

Q : If Pirates make up the playoff, who's gonna first in the rotation, Whom you want to start with?

A : That's tough question, and out of my category. That's manager's job and I don't want to break the rule. I think it will be one of our best pitcher who will be good in shape at that time.
 
Q : Carlos Guillen will be back to his original position, shortstop, next year? With Sanchez struggling, the team could get another third baseman in winter?

A : Exactly Sanchez couldn't reach the level where we want him to be at. Until now, I think manager gave him enough time to prove his ability to keep his position. With 10 more games left and playoff game if we are advanced, if he can't show special things, chances are odds to be replaced this winter. Right now, we think he needs more time to play in AAA.
